Consigning at Encore

our basics

ENCORE accepts new, or gently worn clothing and accessories, both Mens and Womens. Items should be seasonally appropriate and not more than a few years old.

We have a 3 piece minimum and a maximum of 20 pieces per visit.
We accept items from J. Crew to Chanel. Size 0 to 24.
We accept shoes, jewelry (fine and costume), scarves, millinery, and handbags.
We love fun and exceptional vintage pieces and are always happy to add them to our Vintage Couture section.
We typically have a 60 day consignment period. See Contract for more info.

At ENCORE we carefully curate our collection and only accept the best pieces, and only according to demand. We apologize if we are unable to accept your items due to limited space,

Items must be clean and in good condition.
Items should be on hangers or neatly folded in bins. No trash bags or cardboard boxes please.
Items must be free of pet hair, fragrances and smoke odor.
Wrinkled items will not be accepted.

We would love to see more statement jewelry items. Our customers love shopping here looking for that special piece that they can work into their existing closet.

We have had some wonderful Vintage Couture come in recently and we are loving these new additions. These items are in pristine condition and ready to be worn today.

We are NOT accepting basic tees. jeans, pants, slacks or skirts. We will only consider these items from select designers and labels.

We do not accept discount store brands from Kohl’s, Target, Sears, J C Penny, Walmart and others.

Our Consignment Agreement

Consignment Contract

Consignment period is 60 to 90 days. We may use a markdown scale with a 10% discount after 15 days, 25% discount after 30 days and 50% after 45 days. Designer items are exempt from this but are subject to discount at our discretion.

Checks are available to be picked up at the end of the contract.

If any item is found to have any damage (stains, missing buttons, holes, etc.) after we accept it into inventory it will immediately be donated.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to notify us by the 60th day on your contract if you would like to pick up your unsold items. If we are not contacted within one calendar week, the items become property of ENCORE. We reserve the right to keep or donate these items. No reminder calls will be made. Consignor must keep up with end date.

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items.

Encore reserves the right to mark down any item at any time without prior notice.
